 OVERVIEW

The federal government requires units compute the adequacy of dialysis for all their patients. There are many methods to perform these calculations and they vary dramatically in accuracy.

The Mistebar program uses Dr.Gotch's Equations for the most accurate dialysis adequacy calculations. The program also computes nPNA, eKTV, a new prescription for the patient based upon their protein intake, Access Recirculation, and Residual. The Automatic QA Checking lets you know if you have a problem with the data. You can also compare 5 dialyzers, side by side to select the best dialyzer for a patient.

The Program also is a data management tool, with 27 reports. These save time reporting data to the ESRD, generate special reports for patient’s chart, has reports for each physician with his patients, list of patients who are underdialzed, patients not eating enough, etc.

The multiuser version has all the features of the standard version plus allows calculation of QA for all units, or individual units are able to see the QA just for their unit. This version is also less expensive than purchasing separate programs for each unit. We also have a version for Laboratories.

In summary, the Mistebar Hemodialysis program meets the federal guidelines for adequacy calculations, improves quality of patient care since it uses the most accurate adequacy calculations, and saves time producing reports. Its time saving data entry features also makes it easy to use for large patient populations.

The single user program costs $799 which includes a 90 day warranty. A life time Version Warranty costs an additional $40 per year. Warranty includes replacement of software, help on using program such as looking at customers computed data and helping explain the results.  Add $300 for a Networked version.
